Fancy a punchy cold ipa? Well here it is. This beer is fermented with our phenomeal lager yeast to express all the ingredients that went into it. When fermenting with lager yeast we try to get the most taste and aroma from each ingredient, with virtualy no esters and phenols to mask or modify what each ingredient is bringing to the beer.

We’ve added a touch of locally sourced rice to the grain to keep things dangerously smooth to drink, but kept the grain bill rich enough to still balance out the moderate bitterness derived from Tomahawk hops. Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Galaxy on the cold side, will bring you a classical fruity punch with pleasant but firm grapefruit zest-like bitterness bite. A giant pile of hops we used gives a bit of a hop haze - same as if you looked at a west coast double IPA, with a rich, lip smothering foamy head that drinks like a dream. But don’t let that fool you - it rocks 7,4% ABV, so you better think twice before you smash a few pints of them in a row.
